After someone betrays you do you forgive them, and be friends again or do you just love them from afar??

What would you do?

I would do what the Holy Spirit led me to do as we no longer are to eat the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. It’s taken me many years to realize this.
I like your posts that are short, to the point and cause us to look to the Lord for the answers.
God bless you and your blog.

Thank you kindly Michelle. I am known to be stubborn and the hardest thing I had to do, was forgiving after a betrayal, but I needed it for my soul and hopefully to set an example for my child.

I have done both: I have forgiven and spoken blessing to an ex-husband who committed adultery and we became friends after many years,… I also have forgiven and blessed others who have done worse, but when a believer is a railer, fornicator, drunkard, a sexual molester, etc. we are not to have fellowship with that person UNTIL they repent. Some of those are technically not betrayers to us, but they are to the Lord, eh?

I agree somethings are extremely hard to forgive, all we can do is try, I felt if your heart is pure and you have good intentions, love them from afar ..🤓💔 and let em go!!!!
