Gratitude is essential for daily living. Your alarms whether internally or physical did not wake us up, your creator did. Therefore, it is imperative that you give thanks for each and every day, since it is not guaranteed.
Even when life feels heavy, and overwhelming give thanks.
Each day notice the beauties, the lessons, and the blessings that show up in both the ordinary and extraordinary moments of your life.
Today, I want to take a moment to honor what I am truly grateful for.
I Am Grateful for Life Itself!!
Every breath I take is a gift. Although, some mornings, just waking up is a victory in itself. Life may not be perfect, but it is precious. It gives me opportunities to learn, to grow, to heal, and to try again and to hope.
I Am Grateful for Love
Love comes in so many forms—family, friendships, community, and even the love I’m learning to give to myself. It is the force that carries me through difficult days and fills my heart with hope. Even when love has broken me, it has also taught and sustain me resilience and reminded me of my worth. Learning to love and appreciate you is healing.
I Am Grateful for Challenges!
Struggles are not easy to endure, but they shape who I am. Every obstacle has taught me patience, strength, and faith, and being resilient. I’m grateful for the ways life has stretched me, even when it hurts, and tear me apart, because I discovered parts of myself I didn’t know existed. It also allows me to draw closer to God for courage, strength and a whole lot of boost.
I Am Grateful for Small Joys!
The laughter that bubbles up unexpectedly, the few families and friends I can talk to and give me support. The sunshine on my skin, a kind word from someone who cares, travelling to new places—these are the little treasures that make my days brighter. Gratitude reminds me never to overlook the small stuff.
I Am Grateful for Hope
At one time, life got too overwhelming and I did not wish to be apart of it anymore, because I did not have any Hopes.
Even when the road feels uncertain, hope whispers, keep going. It reminds me that tomorrow can be better, that healing is possible, and that joy can return when I least expect it; so you continue to praise God in good times and bad.
Gratitude is not about ignoring pain or pretending life is easy—it’s about choosing to see the blessings that surrounds you, even in the middle of storms.
Today and every day, I am choosing gratitude because it is the key that keeps my heart open, my spirit lifted, and my soul alive.
I am stronger for it all!
