Dating outside your race can be like traveling without leaving home. You get a front-row seat to different traditions, perspectives, foods, family dynamics, and life experiences. The differences can be fascinating, but the real test of any relationship isn’t race—it’s whether two people can respect each other’s backgrounds, communicate openly, and share core values. In my experience, the similarities often ended up being more important than the differences.”
